Ever since I was a kid I've loved coming to the library with my mom and sister. The programs and books helped me explore my creativity, and the dedicated librarians always made me feel welcome and safe. As an adult I knew that I wanted to make people feel the same way that I felt as a kid walking into the library. So when I found out that I would be able to work for Lexington Public Library, I was over the moon. I now get to help people every day and educate them on all of the amazing things we have to offer. I wanted to join this fundraising campaign to give back to the library since it has helped me feel a sense of community in trying times, and allowed me to get to know some truly amazing and inspiring people. 

What is Library Giving Month: The Library Giving Month campaign is a concept dedicated to growing philanthropic support for libraries across the nation highlighting “Library Giving Day” and  “Library Awareness Week.” All gifts in the month of April will support the $15K campaign goal of supporting Lexington Public Library. 

Donations of $50 and above will receive a commemorative Cricket Press print of the Eastside Branch as a thank you. Please include a note with your donation to specify if you'd like the print mailed or if you'll pick it up at Central Library branch.

Posters will be available after May 1st, 2025.
